The Department of Commerce's National Telecommunications and Information Administration and the USDA’s Rural Utilities Service, as part of the Obama Administration’s Open Government Initiative, introduce BroadbandMatch, an online database-driven tool for facilitating collaboration and productive partnership among applicants for their Recovery Act broadband initiatives.

The tool allows any company, nonprofit, state or local government or expert individual interested in applying for or assisting with a grant under NTIA’s Broadband Technology Opportunities Program or RUS’s Broadband Initiatives Program to create a profile, post contact information and data about the contributions they can make to a successful grant application, and search for other similar stakeholders whose skills and resources complement their needs.
